The final reports will soon be available in English. The summaries are available below:
Consultation meetings were held in November 2015 in Montréal, Bécancour, Québec City, Gaspé, Anticosti, Îles-de-la-Madeleine and Sept-Îles. In all, around 330 people attended the public sessions.
As part of the same process, members of the public were invited to submit written briefs or use the dedicated blog to record their comments.
Overall, more than 207 citizens and organizations filed briefs or made comments to share expert knowledge or make suggestions concerning the main issues connected with oil and gas development and transportation in Québec. In addition, almost 50 contributions were made to the blog.
Based on all this information, the government will publish the final reports for the comprehensive strategic environmental assessment and the strategic environmental assessment specific to Île d’Anticosti.
